Here are the questions related to Revenue Growth that came from the attendees at the very beginning of the workshop and the answers that I am providing after having had time to give them more thought:

How do you narrow done your opportunities and find the best ones to pursue?

How do you streamline the effort (i.e. reduce the time) to implement the ideas?

How do you replace dollars lost as a result of government and military reductions in spending?

How do you deal with the impact of travel costs and restrictions?

How do you do more with less?

How do you find the right person to contact (i.e. sell to?)

The “bias” behind my ideas is that in general I believe there are three ways to grow your revenues:

Increase your direct sales and marketing efforts

Make an acquisition of a company that has revenue

Use alliances more strategically

Each of the above questions will be entered into this discussion as a separate comment so that you can follow the stream that most appeals to you.
Training Magazine Article - 6 Emerging Technologies in Educationtag:ifivealliances.ning.com,2013-08-13:3234727:Topic:160022013-08-13T01:21:57.535ZPaul Terlemezianhttp://ifivealliances.ning.com/profile/PaulTerlemezian

2. Mobile Technology - Again the emphasis was on cost savings - there is an example of real-time interaction.

3. Gaming - A few years ago I read that "gaming" meant - competitive, immersive, self-diagnostic, continuous interaction. What else needs to be included?

4. Open Content - I think we also need to consider - user generated content as the driver behind open.

5. Learning Analytics - As an "analytic" this appeals to me. Common sense however tells me that the learner does not need analytics to know whether or not the learning worked.

6. Personal Learning Environments - This one is perhaps the most significant.

What is the most significant emerging technology in your opinion? Is it something not on this list?
2013 - What path will you choose? Where will it take you?
