2017 Answering the Question - Who Can Afford Their Health Services?

The answer appears to be - hardly anyone - how did this happen?

Is this only an American problem?

As I "age" (not that I would admit to doing so) I find that many people I know that are in their 60's would like to keep working, I expect to work until 75 or 80 or longer. What if this were the new norm?

Perhaps the hours could be reduced - the benefits reduced and the work - aided by technology - need not be any less strenuous than if done by someone who were 55 or 60.

What incentives could be provided to encourage this?

What new methods of learning would be needed?

Are there any correlations between health and working?

2015 Some Hands-On Advice For The 65+ Market

We are living longer (and working longer) - there is a natural tendency for health to deteriorate as we age and the healthcare industry is innovating to allow older people to stay in their homes longer.

Do the needs of older workers differ from the needs of younger workers?

Does fear of age discrimination prevent us from acknowledging and addressing these needs?

What are these needs? What learning innovations would be effective if age discrimination were not a concern?

If we are unsure of outcomes - then the only "sure" thing to do is to reduce costs.

How would you assure innovation via collaboration with others would not add undue costs and unnecessary task overlaps?

2019 The ‘Fits & Starts’ Of MAT Adoption

The concern here is the use of controlled substances (medication) to accelerate recovery from something worse than the controlled substance.

In the training world - we might think of this as the refreshments or "intangibles" - perhaps level 1 measures of user "happiness" with the training experience. What intangibles apply to e-learning? Personally - I do not think "engaging interaction" is sufficient. Do you?
