"At a high level, readmission rates for behavioral health conditions — combining the major diagnostic categories (MDCs) of mental diseases and disorders and alcohol/drug use disorders — show Medicare rates of readmissions for behavioral health conditions exceed the Medicaid rate, with the uninsured and privately insured rates placing third and fourth, respectively"
