There are so many references to ROI and training that we are on the verge of it becoming like "white noise." Some are abandoning it, some are embracing it and many are claiming to have invented it. Ohers are claiming the latest breakthrough.

Where are you?

Should it be abandoned? - Why?
Have you "cracked the code" - Can you share what you've mastered?
Are you still searching? - What has not worked that is causing you to search?
What breakthough are you seeking (or claiming!)

I am still searching based on a wide range of experiences with actual implementations (Some for which ROI is mandatory and others for which it is impossible.)
