Have you ever experienced this?
Perhaps it is not aloud - but quietly to ourselves? Might we say something aloud and yet let the inner doubt hold us back - and then we fail - or are surprised when we succeed?
Might we "be" our self-prophecies by declaring them not with our words or intentions - but with our actions - 100% of the time?
What did Jesus say or do that was not positive about himself?

Why does it sadden me to interpret so much of what I see as messages of self-doubt?
Why do I feel compelled to help others?
Perhaps as I seek (and fail) to help others I learn how difficult it is to help myself (Self-mastery) and succeed?
