2014 eHarmony For Healthcare?

"The program is call Every Child A Priority (ECAP), and it is a new web-based decision support tool to assist child welfare organizations in locating the best possible non-relative foster family match, for children in need of placement (see Foster Care Technologies Launches To Bring Foster Care Family-Match...)."

With education to tend to match the individual with the career via an aptitude assessment and then train them (oftentimes by the organization that assessed their readiness.)

Would it work to start off with the career that someone wanted to be in (independent of their aptitude) and then prescribe the best set of experiences and training for them?

2016 Don’t Confuse Activity With Strategy

"It’s just too easy to spend an inordinate amount of time and money on something that may not be the most aligned with your future strategy. On this issue, I’m reminded of the Peter Drucker adage, 'There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently that which should not be done at all.'”

Are there common practices that we might consider stopping - and shifting the time and money to other areas of need?

What is a best practice for deciding what to stop (or diminish?)

2017 Success With Care Coordination? Bringing Order To Complication

"...the silos that exist in the current health care system.."

Do we have silos in our current performance systems?

  • To what extent is the manager involved - before, during or after the learning?
  • How is the learner's performance made available to those considering internal cross-functional transfers or promotions?
  • What other silos are you aware of?

2018 Texas DFPS Selects Family Tapestry For Bexar County Foster Care Man... Contract

What is the typical length of agreement with an external training provider?

What is the typical length of agreement with an internal client regarding their utilization of training services?

Are these length of agreements determined in a manner that assures the best performance outcomes for the learner? Why did you answer the last question the way you chose?

2019 The VBR Mandate – Medicaid Requirements On The Increase

"There are many factors driving the increased use of value-based reimbursement. Payers are facing cost pressures and as a result are focusing on driving better value through integrated care. Competition between health plans is creating the need for better synergy with their contracted provider organizations. Finally, the volume of new technologies that allow for new treatment modalities and better administrative functions mean that reimbursement models that leverage these technologies are needed."

We understand cost pressures and competition...how might new technologies change the business (reimbursement) models in our industry?

  • Proving that what "worked" was because of the solution?
  • Assuring those that needed the solution had access to it?

How night the process of finding solutions be improved - based on your experience?
