"Why the change in financing models? This move from horizontal specialty management models to vertically-integrated financing through health plans, accountable care organizations (ACOs), and medical homes is being done purportedly to accomplish “integration” of service management for consumers."
What aspects of the financial model for L&D accomplishes a focus on outcomes?
Are there aspects that hinder the focus on outcomes?
What would you keep the same? What would you change - if a focus on outcomes was the "purpose" of the change?

"... New York City dentist who has sued five of his patients over poor reviews that they posted on Yelp. The dentist..... currently has a 4.5 star rating ..... But he has claimed that the “false” bad reviews have had long-term negative effects on his business and amount to defamation."
"The lawsuit seems extreme, but that wasn’t what caught my attention – a red banner ... that warns all potential reviewers that “This business may be trying to abuse the legal system in an effort to stifle free speech, including issuing questionable legal threats against reviewers…"

I remember when IBM purchased Catapult Software Training right after it purchased Lotus.
I also recall Crawford purchasing a eLearning Company to provide profitable training services to its network of partners.
And many years ago DEC outsourced its customer training division which then became Global Knowledge Network.
