For as long as I can recall our industry leaders have encouraged us to speak the language of the executives who lead our enterprises. This makes good sense.
It is also now becoming increasingly important to speak the language of our customers and our employees who are closest to our customers. How do we assure this is happening?
What is our role in helping our leaders, employees, customers and communities understand complex issues?
Is this best left to a PR firm to create and sustain a spin - or (preferably) will authenticity, transparency and integrity rule the day?
Do we really have a long term choice? I think not.
What models have you used to assure that your people are doing conflict "well?"
