Are we surprised when we make a change that intends to do one thing and then discover that an "unintended consequence" occurs which may be worse than what the change was trying to avoid?
How can we avoid making these mistakes? How do we avoid focusing on what we do versus what our clients need us to do - and the reasons they need us to do those things. As their reasons change - it creates opportunity for us or for our competitors.
What are the reasons that our clients need our services?
How are those reasons changing?
