"On August 30, 2016, the Pennsylvania departments of Human Services (DHS) and Aging announced that the Commonwealth had selected three MCOs—AmeriHealth Caritas, Pennsylvania Health and Wellness (Centene), and UPMC for You—for the new Medicaid Community HealthChoices (CHC) managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) program."
Oftentimes we will see vendors make announcements of major contracts they win. In this case it is the purchaser making the announcement. What would be the impact of a purchaser making a public announcement of a contract with an external provider?
