Theoretical wisdom and practical wisdom....

Knowledge - by itself is not wisdom - "yet wisdom cannot exist without knowledge"

• acknowledge your ignorance
• human nature
• experience
• common sense
• self-knowledge - reflection and introspection

Common Sense, Conventional Wisdom, and Collective Wisdom

Decision-Making - "Executive and decision-making are practically synonymous"

I agree - and since all of us make decisions - then all of us are practically executives!

• "Leaders are judged primarily by their decisions"
• "Leaders have a moral decision to make the best possible decisions for the people they lead"
• "Leaders often are held responsible not only for their own decisions but for those of their subordinates" (a person under the authority or control of another within an organization)
• "Good judgment"

Mentoring - "Wise leaders will expose themselves as much as possible to the best thinking and writing, not just in their own field but in multiple fields."
