2015 Telehealth Legislation - Filling In The Crazy Quilt

What can we learn from the potential challenges to telehealth? What can the health field learn from us?

(Please read the following if you would like additional insight)

This article has helped to reshape my thinking on outcomes based expectations.

Here is my current thinking:

1. If you knew disruption was needed

2. If you knew there would be battles about the effectiveness of the disruption (despite the fact that it was needed)

3. If these battle might last decades and cost billions (none of which addressed the matter being disrupted)

4. if there were a way to experience the disruptions and isolate oneself to the extent possible from the battles - would you?

OK, so know think about elearning and telehealth as you review the above thinking.

My assertion is that we are much more accepting or elearning than we are of telehealth and both industries have had access to the same set of tools for the same amount of time. With learning - there were few legal barriers - so we charged ahead. With health - ....(enjoy the article.)
