2015 More Genetic Testing Information Means?
"There are now 672 tests offered by 63 providers located in 29 states for diagnosing, screening, or assessing the risk of developmental disabilities (DDs). But there are only sixteen clinical guidelines – only seven developed in the past five years – for use of that available genetic testing information."
Is there a possibility that any of this genetic information could be correlated to how people learn?
How will we respond to this? How will we assure we are prepared for this?
Is there a potential to create competitive advantage, cost savings, increased performance and/or increased job satisfaction as a result of what might be learned from genetic testing?
2016 When It Comes To Performance Measurement, The “Work” Is Never Done
"I think performance measurement – and performance management – is exhausting. And I don’t expect that to change any time soon. Why?"
"First, how “we” (individual consumers, the public, payers, professionals, regulators) define “performance” changes over time. Second, as technology improves, we can have access to newer and better metrics. Finally, the more we use performance measurement, the more we learn what measurements actually matter."
Is this true for us and our customers?
If so - how can we be assured that our investments in performance measurement are worth it?
2017 Virginia Moves Dual-Eligibles To New Managed Long-Term Care Program
"Dual-eligible beneficiaries (Medicare dual eligibles or "duals") refers to those qualifying for both Medicare and Medicaid benefits. In the United States, approximately 9.2 million people are eligible for "dual" status."
How might we manage the potential of "Tri-eligible" employee training benefits?
"great discussions of strategy, service line development, and performance management in organizations’ serving children’s mental health, autism, child welfare, juvenile justice, and special education needs."
Is there the potential that defined segments of our employee population might have different needs that impact their performance? Do we have (or want to have data) that would help us identify these needs? Would we know how to adapt what we offer to assure that it has the intended performance outcomes?
What might these segments be?
"....being an executive in the health and human service space is a whole “different ballgame” than it was just a decade or two ago.....—long-term vision, strategy, metrics-based performance management, employer of choice, new service line development, collaborations and partnerships, online presence, community relations, government relations, and ...."
"Mindfulness is defined as complete awareness with non-judgment and full attention to the present moment (see Institute For Mindful Leadership: Definitions), by the Institute for Mindful Leadership."
How is being a learning leader different now than from a decade or two ago? Will the next few years bring more change?

2023 CMS Proposes Establishing Medicare Coverage Of Intensive Outpatient...
What are the benefits of addressing the needs of those who consistently fail to meet performance expectations?
How do we effectively transition an inmate who receives effective medical treatment while in prison to life outside of prison?
How do we help an employee who performed poorly after they leave our employment?
Who would benefit if help were available? Who would not benefit?
