Sales person - 10 minute exercise
Intuition - to know without consciously thinking (intuition knows the hidden rule of life)
Exceptional Information - an exception to a rule (I wonder if this eludes those who pursue data to prove a rule?)
Intuition requires Initiative - "running ahead of data" seeing beyond precedent (this reminds me of "Risky is the New Safe")
Uranium - an exception to the rule... (page 21) (I wonder if we are at risk of being so committed to the necessity of scaling that we fail to benefit from things that cannot scale - like intuition, imagination, emotion, and common sense.)
Treat everything as exceptional - just like a child (page 26)
PIneland and mind travel (page 28)
"Logic doesn't think in exceptional." -it prefers labels which facilitate judgment - which defines categories - which support bureaucracies - critical thinking (oops) - decide objectively and without bias (diminishing the potential of intuition, imagination, emotion, and common sense.)
Shift to narrative (I recall the data exercise with MAX at the Federal Reserve - narratives are polarizing - which is fine as long as that is not the end game - it is a great way to get the game going...)
Delay the why - earn points - find the surprise and then find the agree! (Help someone discover something they did not know about themselves - not because they are like you - but because they are true to themselves.)
