Your Revenue Driver

Would you want your son or daughter working for you?

Would you want your son or daughter building their career on the courses you build/teach/offer?

Is integrity teachable? situational? variable?

Would you want your child to work/learn/lead with integrity?

Where does integrity come from? Who defines it?

What role does it play in the course development and delivery process?

How is it done - by whom?

The risk of the questions I have asked is that perhaps we might answer the questions too literally. If we assume that we would want the best outcome for our son or daughter then perhaps there is less risk with the answer.

There is a huge responsibility with being a parent - our children learn from our actions and inactions. What we say and do has impact on their lives - as does what we do not say or do not do. The same is true in our relationship as a manager to their employees.

Parenting is the best preparation for managing. Can we parent or manage better than we have been parented or managed?

Can we develop courses better than the courses that others developed for us? If our work is the result of what we have learned then our success must be attributed to how we learned - am I correct?
