I wonder if we asked ourselves questions such as the environment, mission and core competencies that existed when we developed our experience and then compared the answers to what we see today and what we anticipate tomorrow if it woud have an impact on our work.

 

Are we "Waiting for Yesterday" and expecting the future to "return" to the time when our way of doing things was in demand?

 

Our intuition is shaped by our biases and experiences. At the time that it was being shaped much of what we learned was "counter-culture." I doubt that this has changed. How can we continue to understand the "counter-culture" that is shaping the business world.

 

Perhaps Drucker's three part model is a useful tool for a training organization to understand, embrace and lead the changes that are needed in order to sustain economic survival for their corporation.
