How well and how long would you be able to sustain your performance if in order to do so you found yourself to be increasingly in conflict with your values?

 

Do we understand the values of the people and organizations that we are providing training to?

 

Are the values of the trainees consistent with the values of the organization they work in?

Are the values of the trainers consistent with what they are teaching?

Do we rationalize "away" the differences? What is the relationship between compensation and values? How does training relate to values?

 

How does this apply when considering the current economic conditions and the training received by mortgage brokers, journalists and automotive engineers?
