Your Revenue Driver

Today's chapter deserves to read every day - and perhaps even memorized - LOL. For the training industry we need to "take it to heart" for our own work and by necessity therefore in the work to be done by the people that learn from our work.

Results should be hard to achieve - why? (ambitious vs. foolish)

Results should be visible and measurable - why? (what are the alternatives?)

In order to produce results that make a difference - Drucker proposes that we:

1. Understand what is needed

2. Understand where we can make our greatest contribution

3. What results are needed in order to "make a difference"

Does the training you manage/deliver make a difference?

Are you making a contribution to that difference in a manner that is consistent with your values?

Do the learners agree with your answers?
