Who are the inspirational leaders in the world today?

Who are the inspirational leaders in your life today?

Who are the inspirational leaders in your company today?

Who are the inspirational leaders in the training organization today?

What do each of these leaders represent in terms of:

"Moral authority"

"Belief in values"

"Faith in the rightness of rational action"

Do these last three phrases mean anything?

Can someone lead who does not represent moral authority, values and rational action?

Do our corporate leadership programs develop these skills?

Moral authority in relation to customers, employees, suppliers, community, partners? - all or some? all of the time? most of the time? some of the time?

In theory - the answers are easy - especially if we are allowed to change our definitions of moral, value, rightness and rational - based on the situation - usually in a manner that favors what we have already decided we want to do.

How can we avoid situational ethics? What is the role of the training organization in regards to corporate ethics? How are you sure we are doing the right thing - not just preaching it?
