It seems like teachers have always had to compete with other priorities for learners in the classroom environment.

 

This competition has moved online and the "teacher" is at a significant disadvantage with this competion.

 

What conditions can be mutually agreed to (without coercion) that finds common ground and reduces the need for competition between the teacher and the learner?

 

Would it work better if the learner had to compete for the "teacher's" attention?
