Many years ago when I was a corporate trainer I sensed a much higher respect for training amongst Europeans than I did from Americans. What has been your experience?
If the training function is not respected within the corporate structure then its job will be nearly impossible.

Compensation?
Budget/ Resources?
Bonuses/Stock Options?
How can we (the training industry) deserve/earn the respect we want/deserve?
