It is important for a course to have structure (organization.)

 

Is it possible for the structure to adapt to the learner - dynamically?

 

For years we have had prescriptive learning and that is a good thing. How can we make it better?

Drucker's thesis is that rather than there be "one organization" that management needs to ...."the organization that fits the task."

 

He identified four characteristics of "The Right Organization."

 

1. Transparency

2. Decision-making authority is clear

3. Authority is commensurate with responsibility

4. Each person has only one master

 

I believe that:

A. With the traditional approach to learning - this might be impossible because the model breaks down at every step.

B. If in the learner was accountable to themselves for the results of the learning - the model works perfectly.

 

Do you agree with statements A and/or B? What statement would you make regarding dynamic adaption of the "course" to the needs of the learner?
