Your Revenue Driver
Not too long ago I remember a commercial that stated:
Amateurs practice until they get it right. Professionals practice until they cannot get it wrong.
I am not sure that this is true but I like the point it makes.
We generally think of practice as "boring" and our learners don't like it. How can we make practice more interesting?
The gaming industry is fascinating for that reason. Playing games is really just practice - isn't it?
We even practice to play games better. We take lessons to play games better and we pay for them with our own money.
We play tennis (which may be viewed as practice for being competitive or strategic or analytic.)
What would it take for us to create learning activities that employees would pursue with the same passion that they apply to playing games?
