2014 There’s No Turning Back From Meaningful Use

Here is some background -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_Information_Technology_for_Eco...

Would you like to see a meaningful use mindset towards education?

Would some courses or programs be excluded at the K12 level? College level? Workplace level? Military/police level?

What would be some reasons for excluding courses or programs from meaningful use scrutiny?

2016 Developing Female Leaders In Your Organization

"...an opportunity to engage large and underused parts of the talent pool by creating policies that grow and retain female managers. "

A process to consider"

  1. understand the history of leadership development so we can avoid repeating mistakes while also retaining what has worked.
  2. understand future trends and the conditions that are driving them
  3. define the characteristics of future leaders - assure they are gender bias free and then assure that hiring, developing and managing employees is also gender bias free
  4. understand the cultural (non-work related) gender bias which may have resulted in the development of characteristics in females and males. Some of these may need to be "unlearned" and some may actually be previously unappreciated in leaders - and an opportunity to assure a gender bias free - future

This is a lot to understand and discern. What would you add or change? What do you want the future to look like regarding this topic?

  5. Plan for the long term"

2018 The ‘Best Practice’ Challenge

"One key element of service standardization is the routine use of “best practice” service delivery—whether evidence-based practices (EBP) or practice-based evidence. Health and human service organizations should have models that identify the “best services and approaches” for consumers with specific characteristics and needs, increase the likelihood of a good outcome, provide a great consumer experience, and come with a predictable cost."

Does our industry have best practices? How are they determined? How can we assure that they are more than "intelligent sounding opinions?"
