Your Revenue Driver
With an honest attempt to fulfill its responsibility to enable learning the coroporate world has defined certain expectations:
1. We expect that the learners have a certain prerequisite knowledge
2. We define course content based on expected course outcomes
3. We acknowledge that retention of the content is an issue but have done little to resolve this concern (http://ifivealliances.ning.com/video/the-five-minute-university)
If instead we:
1. Helped to create an environment that enabled learners to increase their readiness to learn
2. Enabled learners to manage change in the way that they choose to perform
3. Provide support for the change as they perform their work
I believe that the learners would:
1. Satisfactorily address the prerequisite matter
2. Seek content that enabled their performance expectations
3. Benefit from efficient support mechanisms for sustained performance (http://ifivealliances.ning.com/profiles/blogs/social-learning-truth...) What do you think is the most efficient tool for getting someplace you have not been to before (book of maps, online maps, GPS?)
