Leadership has the following characteristics:

1. It has followers

2. It is focused on results

3. It sets visible examples

4. It is responsibility

How  does the leader of the training organization demonstrate leadership based on these criteria?

How does the leader in classroom training, elearning or social learning do so?

Specifically - what responsibility must be taken in order to be a leader in any of these situations?

The challenge for elearning is that the leader may be inflexible. Instructional design and 21st century technology may change this - if we allow it to.

We have many examples of humans that meet the four characteristics defined by Drucker. The challenge for social learning (as I cite Facebook, Wikipedia, You-tube etc.) will be to assure item 4. How do you rank elearning in relation to these four characteristics?
