iFive Alliances

Often it seems like training is "at odds" with the internal organizations that they support.

"We want our people out selling - not sitting in classrooms." This is especially true in the fourth quarter or the final month of the quarter or final week of the month.

In professional sports the coaches remain engaged throughout the season and are very close to the "field of play." Is there a role for the training organization that moves them from the "classroom" to the field during these critical moments.

Are there management, coaching or "all hands" activities that could be delegated to the training department? Similarly, could field personnel support the training function when the training managers are on vacation or taking classes?

What other ideas could be implemented to demonstrate the alliance between the training function and the business units it supports?
