Your Revenue Driver

For those of you (thank you Greg Williams, Marlit Hayslett, Jack Shaw, Terena Campagna, David Gates, John Cushnie, Rick Carter, Ron Boggs, Konstantyn, Haim, Marc....) that have been patient enough to listen to my rants about Knowledge Workers and legislative reform you will be intrigued by Drucker's comments about government. He has a lot to say about government (26 of the 366 "dailies" have the word in the title.)

This thought comes from his book - The Age of Discontinuity" written in 1992. I do not know if he had a political bias.

He asserts that those that reached adulthood between 1918 and 1960 were in a political love affair with governement and that "now" our attitudes are in transition...doubt...distrust...

Here's the action point that I will take to heart regarding my passion about legislative reform to reflect Knowledge Worker Productivity: "Propose a program to your congressional representative that applies logic from the work of your enterprise to solve a social problem and that doesn't require new government funds."

The action point continues to influence my thinking. I am focused on finding a way to help stimulate economic development that will bring value to the training industry while neither raising taxes or increasing government spending.

It is too soon to go into "public" detail but please contact me if your are interested in learning more.
